Roof Trusses

Below are our main truss types that can be used in any combination to produce your roof solution.

Finks - Traditional Trusses

These provide the cheapest roof solution available.

The roof load is usually all supported on the wallplates; timber diagonal web strengthen the truss and provide a very economical roof solution in a very wide range of applications.

Spans can be made up to 12 metres (or more in som cases) in one unit dependant largley on load height restrictions.

Larger spans can be achieved with further supports. With a large range of spans and a pitch range from 15 to 60 degrees.
This type of truess will cover a large range of applications.

Raised Ties

Traditionally associated with a "cottage" house style, this format is now used extensivly to provide a higher ceiling line than with a traditionall "Fink" truss.

This gives the room more space internally and with new design and production techniques we can now design larger spans and higher collar heights than before without the need for steel beams.

Attic/Room in the Roof Trusses

This is a truss type that actually uses your roof space for a liveable room area.

The floor joist is incorporated into the truss structure. Design possibilities of theses truss types have advanced enormously in the past 7 years and now a broad range of spans and layouts can give very substantial room volumes.
