Attic re-roof of existing property, Wolverhampton
In early 2018, E.T.S was appointed by a local builder for an extension, renovation and re-roof project in the West Midlands. The objective of the project was to utilise the existing roof void areas, and in conjunction with the increased size in the building footprint, allow for the maximum loft space available to incorporate two new bedrooms.
Attic trusses are a fantastic solution to achieving additional living space within a property. In this instance the footprint of the building was extended, but this is not a pre-requisite for achieving space within an existing roof void. By utilising our powerful, industry leading design technology – Pamir by Mitek industries – we are able to generate designs that comply with ridge height planning restrictions, in this example with the inclusion of a flat roof area, whilst maximising the habitable areas of the building.
To compliment the design, dormer windows were designed and built into the roof structure to give the new spacious living area the added benefit of plenty of natural light.
This project resulted in the existing attic space within the property being transformed into a large, comfortable living area to compliment the rest of the house, while adding huge value to the property.
Whether it’s extra living space, a luxury bedroom or a peaceful office area you require, our room-in-the-roof specialists will help you extend your home by transforming your unused space into a useable area.
